According to Newspapers.com archives, Moises Sanchez had been drinking heavily with a roommate of 22-year old Heriberto Medina in Escondido, California. Afterwards, Moises fell asleep on Heriberto's bed. When Heriberto arrived, he got angry, woke Moises up and got the two into an argument. Moises allegedly responded by stabbing Heriberto in the heart, killing the victim.
A warrant was issued for Moises Sanchez on August 26, 1988. He may have fled to Mexico.

Thoughts? As of today, August 1, 2019, Moises Sanchez is listed as one of Escondido's Most Wanted fugitives. He also has an active listed warrant in the San Diego County warrants search page so we know for sure that he's still at large.
