According to a July 30, 2019 broadcast by NBC New York, Angel Gonzalez was charged with aggravated sexual assault in connection to acts allegedly committed against several children.
12 years after Angel went on the run, the aunt of one of the victims spoke to the media, saying that the Essex County Most Wanted site does not have height, weight, and dates of crimes listed for the fugitives such as Gonzalez. For some cases, there are in fact no listed charges at all.
In response to the media inquiry, fugitive squad investigators say that they are in progress of getting more details on their local Most Wanted page.
Angel Gonzalez may have fled to Puerto Rico.
Based on alleged crime location, it is advised to contact the Essex County Sheriff's Office at 973-621-4111 if you have any information on Angel Gonzalez's whereabouts.
Additionally, tipsters can now contact the FBI's Newark Field Office as well with information on Gonzalez's whereabouts. They can be reached at 973-792-3000.

Thoughts? As of today, July 31, 2019, Angel Gonzalez is still at large since he was featured yesterday by NBC New York about the manhunt and the issues with Essex County's profiling of fugitive suspects.
I put 2007 in question marks at the title since part of the report mentioned he had been wanted for 12 years, while other parts said he had been wanted for more than 12 years. Therefore I'm not 100% sure if he went on the run in 2007.
And I'm really sorry that one of the alleged victim's aunt's had to be one to publicly complain about this, but at least SOMEONE has finally done the right thing and addressed the problem with modern-day local Most Wanted sites by law enforcement. This is especially an issue in New Jersey and New York, the area where Essex County is.
Hopefully we can not only get a wider number of fugitive cases profiled, but with vital statistics and even a brief case description.
