Photo Credits: Project Cold Case -- On January 19, 2012, Yama Fluker was sitting in his car in front of a Charlotte, North Carolina convenience store. Suddenly, an unidentified subject went up to Yama and shot him to death. Surveillance camera footage reportedly showed the killer fleeing the murder scene immediately afterwards. Based on crime location, it is advised to contact the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Homicide Unit at 704-432-8477 if you have any information regarding Yama Fluker's unsolved murder.

Thoughts? As of today, July 30, 2019, the Yama Fluker is unfortunately still unsolved since it was added today to Project Cold Case's "Faces of Unsolved Homicides page". Yama Fluker is entry #586. According to an April 2012 article I found, detectives at that time apparently released surveillance footage of the killer in this case. However today in July 2019, I can not find that footage anywhere. I feel it would be very helpful for readers, especially North Carolina residents to see it. If anyone can let us know where that is online, then feel free to post it here or send us a link through our website contact form. www.projectcoldcase.org/faces-of-unsolved-homicide/www.wcnc.com/article/news/crime/new-surveillance-video-shows-suspect-in-january-murder/275-373388953
