The week before the two-hour 25th season finale, AMW aired the case of Walstein Downs. He's wanted for the 2003 alleged stabbing of his ex-wife in New York. His vehicle was found near Niagara Falls and he may be in Canada, which is why I'm interested in this case. I'm not sure what can be done but I admire how determined his ex-wife is to get him. Her crusade got Downs on AMW and she stated on the show that if she has to wait 10 more years to get him, she will. I really think if he was aired on AMW earlier than this year he may have been a direct capture. He doesn't seem like that hard to catch, but the passage of time is the only reason I'm slightly less optimistic, but he will get caught one day. I don't have much to add as far as guesses except to say I "guess" he's in Canada seeing it's proximity to his crime and the fact it's a different country. I mean you're not going to go Mexico if you're right by the Canadian border.

Thank you both for your efforts in trying to help get Walt found. I am the determined ex-wife, lol. I cannot express the graditude I have towards everyone that is trying to help me get Walt put behind bars. I have faith that it's just a matter of time. Unfortunately for him, I NEVER give up  |

I'm sorry for what happened to you but glad you fought and are fighting back. And even though it was already obvious what a lame-o this guy was, I REALLY rolled my eyes when they mentioned that he has tattoos on his wrists that read out "Walt Disney." What a loser. I wish you luck, but I know you won't need it since he will be found one day. |

Unfortunately for him, I NEVER give up I think the biggest hurdule in locating Walt is that he actually blends in well in the region of Canada that I live in (where he's probably hiding out in). I hope that his apprehension is imminent for both you and the law enforcement officials hunting him down. |

Walt has not been found yet. Every time they discover a body in the river near the falls(where we were told he probably jumped over) we wait and wonder if it is him. But as of right now we believe he is still out there somewhere. -Walt’s daughter

Thank you for the update. It would make sense if he killed himself afterwards, but as you said no body has been found yet. Hopefully he can be found one day dead or alive to provide closure for everyone.
