A manhunt is underway for a man accused of shooting a sheriff's deputy in Henderson County.
Jeremy Brian Cook, 39, shot the deputy at about 3 a.m. Wednesday, according to a Henderson County Sheriff's Office statement. Authorities say Cook, who is believed to be armed and dangerous, may be traveling into the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
Cook is believed to be driving a silver 1999 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck with a Texas license plate BR7-1002.
The shooting occurred along County Road 4117 near Berryville, officials said.
The wounded deputy had injuries that were not considered life threatening.
Anyone with information that can help law enforcement locate Cook is asked to call the Henderson County Sheriff's Office at 903-677-6311.

Thoughts? This is a breaking news so Cook is obviously still at large as of our posting date (July 24th, 2019). Hopefully this will be a quick manhunt.
