On April 29, 2001, authorities in Salinas, California say that a fight broke out inside a bar involving Jose Francisco Flores. That's when Jose allegedly fired two gunshots, striking 24-year old Jose Luis Mandujano in the head. Jose Mandujano walked out into the street where he collapsed and died from his gunshot injury.
A few weeks later, Jose Flores was identified as the alleged shooter and a warrant was issued for his arrest. By that time, he had already gone on the run.

Thoughts? As of today, July 19, 2019, the Monterey County Court Records page shows Jose Flores's 2001 murder case as active, with no movement since the warrant was issued in 2001. Since I discovered that Monterey County has a public court records page for cases after October 1992, I went to check if there were any archived fugitive murder cases to profile. Luckily, Salinas had a Most Wanted page up until 2008 which was the time that Jose Francisco Flores was featured online.
Since I couldn't find any online articles after 2001 on Newspapers.com or Google, it sounds like there haven't been a lot of leads in this manhunt. Therefore it would make sense that Jose Flores has spent at least some of his time on the run in Latin America.
