On October 5, 1980, the body of an unidentified white female was found just south of Route 146, west of Arroyo Grande in Henderson, Nevada. She had only been deceased a few hours prior to the discovery of her body. The Jane Doe is believed to have been between 17 and 19 years of age. She was 5’2” and weighed 103 lbs. The Jane Doe had light brown/blonde shoulder length hair and blue eyes. She had a small blue-colored tattoo on her forearm. The tattoo was approximately ½ inch long and ¼ inch wide and appeared to be homemade. The Jane Doe’s nails were trimmed short and painted with a silver nail polish. She had pierced ears, a small birthmark on the lower left side of her back and a vaccination scar on her left bicep. An eye hook ligature was found on one of her bottom teeth. This ligature may have been placed there as a spacer, indicating she possibly began orthodontic treatment that was never completed. The featured reconstruction is an artist’s rendering of what the Jane Doe may have looked like. Anyone with information should contact the Clark County Coroner’s Office, reference case number 80-01221 or the Henderson Police Department, reference case number 80-3937.

Thoughts? It is theorized that Arroyo Grande Jane Doe's case is possibly connected to the Sahara Sue Jane Doe case that I posted earlier in the evening.
