Details of Disappearance
Dunning was last seen in Lakeland, Florida on May 10, 2008. He got into a physical altercation with another man. The man stated Dunning walked into a wooded area and disappeared. He has never been heard from again. He was reported missing by his mother on May 13.
Dunning is considered a fugitive in addition to being a missing person, because he was on probation for a 1999 kidnapping, robbery and burglary conviction at the time of his disappearance. His probation period was supposed to end in September 2009.
Few details are available in Dunning's case.

Thoughts? This is a weird/unique case since as the Charley Project points out, Dunning is technically both a missing person and a fugitive. I am profiling Dunning as a fugitive only because we're an overall crime but mainly fugitive-themed website. And as of this posting date (7/12/2019), Dunning still had warrants when searching Florida's public access wanted persons site: pas.fdle.state.fl.us/pas/restricted/PAS/person/WantedPersons.jsf
Despite being a technical fugitive, the scant details suggest Dunning did not leave willingly and was likely the victim of foul play or an accident. However, we'll never know until the day Dunning or his body is found.
