From wfla.com:
TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) – Takiya Fullwood’s family says they’re healing as best as they can, but they won’t get the closure they need until their loved one’s killer is off the streets.
“She always had a good energy about her. Every time she came around there were always smiles on everybody’s faces,” her brother Tagee told News Channel 8.
“She was like my best friend. We used to always go everywhere,” her sister Tyra Fullwood recalled. “Even when she went to college I didn’t feel like she was very far. We spoke every day on Facetime, and it was just so hard when I found out she was gone.”
Gone when shots were fired at a house party in Ybor City back in February.
Takiya, 18, was leaving in a car when she was struck and killed by a bullet. Now, more than three months later her killer is still out there.
“It’s so frustrating knowing that the person who was willing to take away someone’s life just because a few choice words is still out there. It’s aggravating. They deserve to go to jail because you took her away from a family knowing she has a family,” Tyra said.
Although there were more than 50 people there that night, many of which witnessed the incident, police have no solid leads to make an arrest.
“To know this perpetrator actually did this in front of a crowd of people and we can’t get, or haven’t gotten anyone to say who did it,” said Darrick Fullwood, Takiya’s uncle.
It will be difficult for the family to find justice since those who know the killer are afraid to come forward.
“Just come out with the truth. Be anonymous like my uncle said. There’s Crime Stoppers where you can be anonymous. Just please, we need to know who did it,” said Tyra.
Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information leading to an arrest. Those with information should call 1-800-873-TIPS. You can remain anonymous.

Thoughts? I am placing Takiya's senseless case in the Unsolved on TV section since In Pursuit with John Walsh's Facebook page posted about her earlier in the week (see the show's July 1st, 2019 status updates).
