I remember back in 2007 when AMW did a special episode on The Zodiac Killer out of California, the episode was special cause they were helping promote the movie that was coming out on his investigation/case with Jake Gyllenhaal and Mark Ruffalo in it.
When suddenly it occurs to me that I don't really remember any serial killers who were already known (not unknown to this very day) who were profiled on AMW except Kenneth McDuff and I wasn't even watching AMW when they profiled him as well as Gary Ray Bowles. How many other serial killers were profiled and got captured thanks to AMW?

I remember back in 2007 when AMW did a special episode on The Zodiac Killer out of California, the episode was special cause they were helping promote the movie that was coming out on his investigation/case with Jake Gyllenhaal and Mark Ruffalo in it. When suddenly it occurs to me that I don't really remember any serial killers who were already known (not unknown to this very day) who were profiled on AMW except Kenneth McDuff and I wasn't even watching AMW when they profiled him as well as Gary Ray Bowles. How many other serial killers were profiled and got captured thanks to AMW? Please understand I'm not picking on you but you have once again posted in the wrong section. I will show you a link to the site layout map which lists threads. But in summary: Any section that has a decade listing that says something like (Fugitives on TV 2010-) or (Exclusive Fugitives 2010) or (Missing on TV 2010) are for singular threads on single still unsolved cases in whatever category that is, be it fugitive, missing, or unsolved so this section (fugitives on tv 2000-2009) are for single topic threads on any fugitive aired on a tv crime show whose warrant or date of alleged crime is from 2000-2009. (It's not when the fugitive was aired, but the year they became wanted is how the fugitive categories are broken down and the other still unsolved sections go by chronology of missing date for the missing or year of crime for unsolved with no known suspect cases). Random questions about AMW once again should fall into either general or off-topic or random questions about captures should be placed in either captures or off-topic. I will admit this particular thread can go in many of the non-fugitive sections, the only thing for certain is it doesn't belong in this section. I'll move this to the Captures on TV section since this is a question about captures, although it's an admittedly gray area here. Once again I'm not picking on you, and normally I'd send a poster private messages and not tell them publicly but I want to make sure you see this. I understand this forum can be confusing but this link will hopefully let you get the hang of it. Please also note if you just go to amwfans.com, every single category lists the description of the category and what the posts in the category are supposed to be it. amwfans.com/thread/1238/site-layout-mapFinally, to answer your question, 912th's capture directory would be a good place to start but the general definition is anyone who has killed at least one person in more than one incident is considered a technical serial killer. (Someone who kills two people at once wouldn't be considered a serial killer, but if you kill one person at one point at time, and then another at another point you're technically a serial killer). So while it's hard for someone to just blurt out an answer right away, that definition would be a good place to start.
