I am a kind of guy who likes to keep track as well as keep up with the death penalty states in America and to see which dirt bags are going to finally be sent down to Hell where they belong.
Well I know how ANW kept track of capture and capture and capture, well this Friday the Peach State is going to mark a major mile stone in history of the death penalty..... This Friday Georgia is going to accomplish the U.S.'s 1,500th execution, the dirt bag is Marion Wilson Jr. Who in '96 along with an accomplice murdered an off duty prison guard.
Well I don't know to as how many of you keep track with the death penalty but since hearing that Georgia is going to do execution #1,500 that number got me just started thinking.
Well I know as to how In the past I'd asked if any of you knew as to how many AMW fugitives got their date with the needle and I know that this is a major shot in the dark but I was just wondering..... Does anyone on this forum know as to what number a former AMW fugitive who landed on death row... What number did that dirt bag get labeled as?
In the case of Wilson in Georgia who's going to be number 1,500, well he's going to be Georgia's 51st death row inmate to die since the death penalty was reinstated.

I'm not sure, I don't pay attention much to the death penalty since despite running a crime forum, I'm generally against the death penalty. Don't get me wrong, I'm still for having it for the worst of the worst cases (i.e. Yaser Said if he's ever captured and lethal injection is actually too nice for him, he needs to be beaten to death) and I have no sympathy for those who actually committed the crime and may they burn in hell. However, the problem is advanced DNA has exonerated men/women on death row and/or proven unfortunately some already executed were actually innocent. It's not a matter of not thinking those who did it don't deserve it, but not taking a chance on wrongly executing anyone who is innocent. Not to mention, life in prison is no picnic either.
Also, I want to stress something, America's Most Wanted and all of John Walsh's are victim's advocate shows and getting justice for the victims. I remember when I was younger and just viewed it as like a Rambo action movie/ "heck yeah get these motherf**ers* *kill all these mf-ers* type show, but the fact of the matter is it's a matter of providing peace for the victims. The suspect finally being captured and put to death or sent to prison for life still doesn't bring someone's loved one back. There's no such thing as closure and it's about justice and providing a sense of peace that those who did harm to someone a person loved didn't get away with it. America's Most Wanted etc.. are not action shows but victim's rights/advocate shows. So this is probably also why I don't pay much attention to what happens to fugitives after they're captured (unless they get out again which unfortunately happens too much) and I'm just relieved we don't have to worry about them anymore. So I just want to stress also AMW's not a "h*ll yeah let's kill all these dirtbags" show, it's a victim's rights show.
With that being said, besides a few members of the Texas 7, railroad killer Angel Resendiz, and serial killer Kenneth McDuff (voted AMW's greatest capture on our forum a few years ago) are probably among the most famous AMW captures put to death, although I don't know how many were put to death before them.
