On November 17, 1980, the remains a young female were located in a shallow grave in a remote desert area off Route 66 in Ludlow, California (San Bernardino County). It is believed the she had been deceased between 1 and 6 months. The Jane Doe is believed to be a Caucasian and between 17 and 22 years of age. She was between 5’5" and 5’8" and approximately 115 lbs. She had light brown/red hair. A yellow metal 10K ring (size 7) with 7 glass stones was found with the Jane Doe. The center stone was missing. The Jane Doe had multiple gaps in her smile, both top and bottom, with congenitally missing lateral incisors and a retained primary right canine. Her smile was incredibly distinctive and would have be recognizable by those who knew her. The body of an unidentified male was also found in the grave. The John Doe is believed to be a white male between 21 and 30 years of age. He is believed to have been approximately 5'4". He had long brown hair (approximately 12 to 15 inches) tied into a pony tail. He had a tattoo of Egyptian Ankh and his left ear was pierced. A white metal "Ankh" earring was found on the John Doe. The featured reconstruction is an artist’s rendering of what the Jane Doe may have looked like. Anyone with information should contact the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department – Coroner Division reference case number 56773.

Thoughts? I am placing this Jane Doe case in the Unsolved on TV section since In Pursuit with John Walsh's Facebook page made a posting about her earlier in the month (see the show's June 1st, 2019 status updates)
