However Durham is still out there either hiding or deceased, and the anything is possible situation with the Top Ten really is getting to me lol, This case has been one of those on the Additional violent crimes I've been hoping can be added from that section, with the other long timer being Ger Chang. |

Ever since he was first profiled, I've been convinced that Durham is dead. Cop shootings are usually resolved fairly quickly, but this is the only one in recent memory I can think of where the suspect wasn't apprehended within a few weeks. AMW profiled him nonstop, but they never gave him a full airing, oddly enough. It was either a BOLO, Break-Four Tease or a small profile on the 50/50 shows.

Perhaps if the The Hunt was to air this case at least for half the episode, it would do this case some good. Plus Durham was said to be Wacked out on medication during the police chase ad thought aliens were after him according to a reporter, which maybe a reason why he could be deceased. |

Not sure what you mean by see the case differently- do you mean as to the dead or alive aspect? could depend based on the article.
But it is a good article and does make me see the case when it comes to Durham's alleged mental state as he sounded like a man who was unraveling.

Yeah he talked about wanting to live in the Caribbean and had traveled to Thailand and other places.
Still, America's Most Wanted also had a very good international reach and there's been basically hardly any tips or at least from the show itself.
And the circumstances of that night also suggest he killed himself afterwards.
Is it possible Durham is still alive. Until they find him or his body no one knows.
I tend to lean towards him being deceased, but it doesn't mean you don't work the case until you know for sure and work every possibly lead to get justice for Officer Dodds, who although didn't die, has never been the same since based on that article.

Since Durham is bumped up on the Additional violent crimes section of the FBI, decided to bump this up as well. I really hope The Hunt airs Durham for season 5 next year. Also isn’t it shocking that Durham has been on the run/ or been deceased for 7 years now.

Well they did air David Burgert so I guess it sets a precedent for airing Durham. It will also depend on who the FBI wants them to prioritise as although The Hunt does choose some cases based on staff research, some others are at the request of law enforcement.

What’s likely is Perhaps the latter since Officer Dodds could ask the Lincoln City PD to request The Hunt’s production company to air Durham. |

I know this is a high-profile case but only because it is new site policy to officially mention either on our posting date or during an update, wanted to officially reflect that as of July 13th, 2018, Durham is still listed on the FBI's website as a wanted fugitive. (Same link as in the OP).
