From the Richmond Times-Dispatch (Richmond.com):
A Maryland man is wanted by authorities investigating a homicide and a woman’s disappearance in Cumberland County, along with a carjacking in South Hill. Police are calling the woman “critically missing” and believe she may have been abducted.
George William Knisley, 41, of Carroll County, Md., is sought by the Cumberland Sheriff’s Office and Virginia State Police, which is assisting the investigation.
Police said Amy Renee Fabian, 43, may be in danger.
The investigation began about 3:30 a.m. Friday when deputies received a 911 call about a homicide. Police responded to a home in the 200 block of Mount Airy Lane, where they found a man dead inside, state police said in a statement.
Fabian, who lives at that residence, was not found at the home. She is 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs 124 pounds, according to police. She has brown eyes and brown hair. She was last seen at 3:16 a.m. Friday.
Knisley is a suspect in the man’s death and Fabian’s disappearance, police said. Police did not give a possible motive, or say how Knisley might have been connected to Fabian and the slain man, whose identity was not released.
Authorities believe Knisley left the Cumberland home driving a 2002 white Ford F-350 work truck, which was reported stolen in Maryland a day earlier. The truck has “Alleghany Industries” displayed on the side and the Maryland license plate 22L 231.
Three hours later, the South Hill Police Department received a call from a woman who reported a carjacking. South Hill is about a 1½-hour drive south from the Cumberland address, which is near U.S. 60 and U.S. 15.
The woman told police she was walking out to her car at her home, where a man matching Knisley’s description threatened her at gunpoint and stole her 2013 Honda Civic. The man was on foot and alone, according to state police.
The man fled, and police believe he is driving the Civic. The car is white and has the Virginia license plate LAR 64.
The woman was not injured.
Knisley is described by police as a white man with brown eyes and brown hair. He is 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs 180 pounds. He has a full beard and tattoos on his arms.
The Cumberland Sheriff’s Office asks anyone with information to call 911 or (804) 492-4120 or the state police at #77.

Thoughts? This is a very concerning case and I hope Amy can be found safe quickly.
