From CBS News:
SOMERVILLE, Mass. - On March 30, 1995, the body of Massachusetts teen Deanna Cremin was found near a housing complex - two blocks away from her suburban Boston home and just days after her 17th birthday.
A medical examiner later determined that she was strangled. 20 years later, her family is still searching for justice in their daughter's murder.
"Somebody brutally murdered her and strangled her," her mother, Katherine Cremin, told CBS Boston in 2013. "And it's just wrong that there aren't any answers, you know I don't know what happened."
There have never been any arrests in the case, though family suspects her boyfriend at the time may have been involved.
Katherine Cremin told Boston.com that the boyfriend often walked Deanna home from his house every night, making sure she got inside and calling her when he got home. However, on the night she was murdered, he told investigators that only walked her halfway, Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan told the site.
"He didn't call that night," Deanna's older sister, Christine Cremin, told CBS Boston in 2013. "He didn't cooperate with the police. He walked her halfway home. I just, I don't, I don't believe that he's innocent."
He's never been charged in connection to the investigation, which is still open.
In the days following her death, police were also looking for an unidentified man - described by police as 5 feet, 11 inches tall and between 10 to 170 pounds - who was seen near in the area where the body was found, according to the Boston Globe. They also reportedly interviewed an unnamed member of the Somerville Fire Department, who had recently taken an interest in her, her friends told police.

Thoughts? Sadly the 24th anniversary of Deanna's murder was last month. However, her family is holding out hope because of a newly formed Middlesex County Cold Case Unit: www.wcvb.com/article/family-of-murdered-teen-hopes-new-middlesex-county-cold-case-unit-will-provide-answers/26938474
