Some good news for case tracking out of California! Alameda County, which consists of cities such as Oakland and Hayward, now has an Odyssey Court Records page. This means we can now look up case files from 1974 onward for no charge! The only downside is that the database does not have case updates or entries if there hasn't been any movement in 2005 or later. But it's a start for one of California's larger counties, and I'll take that. As an example of our new resource, I checked the file for Greisy Valencia and it displays the status as "opened", pretty much meaning that no resolution has been done in her case and no movement in the past several years. publicportal.alameda.courts.ca.gov/publicportal/Home/WorkspaceMode?p=0#PartyCases

I checked and we know have a public court records page for California's Santa Clara County as well! That's another of California's largest counties as it has the city of San Jose, so this will also be very beneficial for case research/confirming. portal.scscourt.org/search
