From the sounds of the article,he had a legitimate job as the head of maintenance for a local school and decided to throw that away by being a felon in possession of several firearms. He's claiming they belong to a friend and that he only handled them when he went out shooting but cops are calling bull on that and so should everyone else. You as a convicted felon are made fully aware having guns/ammo in your home is a no no and bringing on them onto school grounds is a BIG no no. He's out on bail now but he is certainly going to face prison time when all is said and done and rightfully so. If nothing else, he had steady employment(something a lot of ex-con's struggle with) and threw it all away.

siouxlandnews.com/news/local/a-former-maintenance-worker-at-the-public-school-pleads-guilty-to-weapons-chargesAs I mentioned a year or so ago,AMW Capture #634 George Schoenfelder had gotten into legal trouble again for illegally possessing guns despite being a convicted felon. He plead guilty to illegally bringing a gun onto school property and other charges so I'm expecting when all is said and done for him to get more prison time. And I have no pity for him at all on that. Anyone who is a felon knows having guns is illegal. You get caught with them, you deserve the jail time you're going to get.

siouxlandnews.com/news/local/former-maintenance-worker-at-nebraska-school-gets-prison-timeOver a year ago,AMW Capture #634 Gregory Schoenfelder was caught with loaded guns on school grounds and would be charged with possessions of firearms by a convicted felon and bringing guns onto school grounds. In January,he plead guilty to those charges and last week he got his sentence. One to six years in prison. It's a shame he took his second chance and threw it away but some folks never learn.
