Carroll was one of those fugitives who just baffled me as to how he kept escaping. Part of me blames weird decisions from AMW for that. After his September 2009 profile, the show got several confirmed sightings of him and new photos. But for some strange reason it took until March 2012 - Two and a half years! - for the show to finally give him another airing.
It's still baffling that it took so long to find him, but more than 20 years after his first AMW profile - he was first aired as a Break Four Tease in January 2004 - I'm thrilled that he's finally been caught!

Great to see that Carroll finally got arrested and I’m not surprised he was captured in Branson, Missouri….. (it’s like a resort town)

He looks like his original mug shot just with gray hair in my opinion he was bouncing from small town homeless camps all around the southern Ozarks area

I mean this is an awesome capture I read in a article saying that one tip placed him in Alaska and all over the country but fortunately he was one state over these are my favorite types of captures like Moises Galvan Gonzalez and yaser said where the didn't flee to another land but were hiding in either one state over or in plain sight I was actually leaning towards him being dead but like brandenfields said I'm also glad he's not going to get to die a free man like Frederick McLean who was found dead when I was at Franklin job corps I even talked to a fellow true crime fan who was one of the staff my grandfather was actually from Seneca but Carroll won't get the same opportunity he'll be spending the rest of his life in a Illinois state prison

Ironically he was less than a hour away from Springfield his last known location but at least he's on custody good work to John Walsh federal authorities and Missouri and Illinois authorities for giving 150 percent to apprehend this monster
