I have information on this case from newslibrary’s saved articles!
Hector Daniel Gutierrez is accused of stabbing his roommate, Victor Rodriguez to death on November 5, 2006. Hector is then believed to have fled to either Colorado or Mexico.

As of today, May 30, 2022, Hector still has a listed homicide warrant in the Sedgwick County Warrants Database. I can now access the database with my VPN.
Additionally I did not see an UFAP (Unlawful Flight To Avoid Prosecution) case for Hector in PACER.
