According to Newspapers.com, on September 16, 1997, authorities in Largo, Florida found the body of Scott Macey in his apartment. Scott had been murdered three to four days earlier. Scott had previously been charged with domestic violence in August 1997 and was out on $1,000 bail.
On October 10, 1997, a murder warrant was issued for Scott's wife, Vivian who has been at large ever since.

Thoughts? As of today, February 7, 2019, Vivian Macey still has a listed murder warrant in the FLDE database. She also has a red "W" warrant symbol in the Pinellas County court records page for a 1997 DUI charge, so she is still at large (the warrant is searchable under the alias of "Vivian Cardachevsky").
As much as Vivian is considered innocent until proven guilty on the murder charges, Scott Macey was also not proven guilty or innocent on the domestic violence charges. Without speculating on the motive, let me say it would really help this case if Vivian did not go on the run over 20 years ago. Perhaps the possibility of Vivian being a domestic violence victim is why this case didn't get much attention over the years. However, it is her responsibility to prove her case in a court of law.
