Thoughts? As of today, February 5, 2019, Gabino Cadena still has a listed warrant in the Florida Statewide and Hillsborough County databases. He's also the ninth fugitive I've been able to profile as part of my project with last name searches in the FDLE database.
The case information above was provided by newspapers.com so credit to them once again. The articles mentioned Gabino was originally from Mexico so he probably fled back there after the murder. However with no listed publicity since 1989, there is a possibility that Gabino returned to the US thinking no one was looking for him anymore. This has happened before with fugitives who spent several years hiding out in Mexico, only to get caught after returning to the US.
