(Above photo credit: fbi.gov website) Fugitive Profile as of February 1st, 2019: (Based on fbi.gov wanted poster) Aliases: Lewis Phillip, Phillip Lee Lewis III Date(s) of Birth Used: February 22, 1994 Place of Birth: Michigan Hair: Black or Brown Eyes: Brown Height: 6'1" Weight: 160 Pounds Sex: Male Race: Black Scars and Marks: Lewis has tattoos on his chest and right arm, and a scar on his head. Remarks: Lewis has ties to Michigan and Mississippi. TIPS: If you have any information concerning this person, please contact your local FBI office or the nearest American Embassy or Consulate. Tips can also be submitted anonymously online to the FBI at tips.fbi.govFrom the FBI.Gov website: Caution: Phillip Lee Lewis, a convicted felon, is wanted for his alleged involvement in the murder of an individual on January 16, 2019. Lewis allegedly entered a gas station in Gray, Kentucky, and brandished a firearm before shooting a customer attempting to flee the apparent robbery. On January 17, 2019, an arrest warrant was issued by the Commonwealth of Kentucky, after Lewis was charged with murder and first degree robbery. On January 23, 2019, a federal arrest warrant was issued by the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky. www.fbi.gov/wanted/murders/phillip-lee-lewisThoughts? Lewis was just added to the violent crimes and murders section of the FBI's website today. (Which means he is still at large as of this posting date- 2/1/2019). This is a very scary and dangerous alleged murderer, as the man authorities say Lewis shot was a completely innocent bystander. What is also weird about this case is I've read other articles stating it's unclear why Lewis was even in Kentucky in the first place since he's from Michigan. Wherever he is, I fear what will happen the next time he decides to allegedly rob a business, and this what I feel is a fugitive where the general public is in danger as long as he's out there. I don't want to start ranking cases by any means, but I credit the FBI for adding Phillip Lee Lewis to their website as he is the scariest 2019 added fugitive so far to the general public imo. The murder he is accused of was absolutely senseless, and is the type of killing I can unfortunately see happening again.

This is a very awful case and I’m glad the FBI is on top of this case rather quickly. Let’s hope he’s caught quickly.

It reminds me of a case that stood that AMW aired in the 90's, it was a bank robbery in California and a lady simply walked in the robbery and ran away and was shot and killed by the fleeing robber. (I forgot where or who). Really sad that you have a completely innocent victim that was simply at the wrong place at the wrong time.

The closest thing I can remember was Dereck Owens, wanted out of Lompoc, California. The only way to find any articles about that case was by Googling the victim's name. I don't know how to spell it, but I think it was something along the lines of Christine Orsciuchk. The last name, translated into Katakana based on pronunciation, was "OROSHUKU", but neither spelling will lead you anywhere. All I know was that Owens surrendered as Capture #482. UPDATE: I found another article suggesting that the victim's last name was Orciuch.

Yes that was the case! Thanks. Always remembered that one for how unfair it was for her.
