From the Caledonian Record (caledonianrecord.com):
DERBY — Vermont State Police say they are looking for a transient man who is considered armed and dangerous and is wanted on charges that include cruelty to a child and fleeing police.
Lucas Putvain, 31, “is the subject of numerous arrest warrants including violent felonies, and is considered to be armed and dangerous,” state police say.
“He should not be approached. Anyone with information regarding Putvain’s whereabouts should immediately contact police.”
Putvain was last seen in Derby on Nov. 14 by a Vermont State Police trooper, police said. Putvain does not have an adult driver’s license and his license is criminally suspended, police said.
He had “multiple” children with him in the vehicle, police said.
Putvain passed a marked state police cruiser and sped away on narrow and winding West Street from Route 5, police said. West Street follows the edge of the steep-sided Clyde River valley and is considered a dangerous place to drive at high speeds.
Police said they did not pursue him due to safety concerns.
Putvain is facing charges of eluding police, negligent operation, operating without a license and child cruelty, police said.
State police ask anyone with information about Putvain to contact the Derby barracks at 802-334-8881.

Thoughts? I wanted to make this a breaking news fugitive case a week or so ago on our forum but couldn't find any articles with a specific number to call for tips. I finally found one so I'm adding Putvain to the site today. I consider the fact that he had children with him according to the account very concerning.
As far as I can tell, Putvain is still at large as of this posting date (12/28/2018) since I've seen no recent articles stating otherwise. However, if anyone has any updates/proof-of-updates one way or the other, they are always more than welcome to let us know.
