Antonio Magana Castro is wanted for a violent crime spree in 1994. He was featured on Unsolved Mysteries, however I don't know if he was profiled on AMW in the mid-late 90s.
On Jul 20, 1994, Castro walked into a house in Sacramento that was for sale and stabbed real estate agent William Goulart, wounding him. Castro then stole Goulart's car and drove to the property of a 72-year old disabled man named Mike Fadeff in Skagit County, Washington. Castro then stabbed Fadeff to death, stole his gun collection and fled in Fadeff's truck, after setting fire to Goulart's car. Castro was driving the truck on Interstate 5 in Shasta County, California when he got in a pursuit with the California Highway Patrol. He escaped by fleeing into the Sacramento River Canyon and swimming down a river. According to his archived FBI Featured Fugitive poster, on Jul 24, 1994, Castro bought a car that was later found abandoned near the US-Mexico border in San Diego.
Thoughts? His archived FBI poster mentions Castro had entered the US illegally several times so while he most likely fled back to Mexico immediately after the crime spree, he could have returned from time to time, especially since he works as a migrant labourer. However, my only issue is that due to how violent he is, if he had stayed in the US for a long period of time, chances are he could have committed some type of crime that would have gotten him arrested (the FBI poster also mentioned he has a history of violence and drug problems), so I feel he's spent most of the time on the run in Mexico.
