This is really scary. According to a USA Today report roughly 186,000 wanted fugitives are on the loose despite hiding in plain sight because the state they were wanted out of decided it is too costly to extradite them.
This includes fugitives wanted for murder and even fugitives in nearby states. The article mentions fugitives from Philadelphia found in a nearby Camden, New Jersey jail where nothing is being done to extradite them.
It's bad enough when they flee to other countries but its really sad when they can escape justice just by fleeing to another state. Not only is it dangerous but it also in my opinion might set a precedent of encouraging vigilante justice which is not the way to go about things.
