PARKER, Ariz. - Authorities are searching for a homicide suspect who remains at large after escaping on Sunday morning from the Colorado River Indian Tribes jail in Parker, Ariz. Authorities in La Paz County say 25-year-old Mickey Roy Anderson, Sr. was among three men who escaped Sunday by assaulting a detention officer but that the others were apprehended within hours. Authorities say Anderson should be considered mentally unstable and dangerous, reports CBS affiliate KPHO. A La Paz County Sheriff's spokesman referred questions about the homicide case to a jail police official, Capt. Stuart Harper, who did not immediately return a call Tuesday. Anderson is described as Native American with close-cropped brown hair or a shaved head and brown eyes. He's 6-foot-1 and weighs 155 pounds. KPHO reports that he has a tattoo on his neck that reads "Mickey Jr." and another on his chest that says "mouse." A $1,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the apprehension of Anderson. Those with information about the suspect are asked to call Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS or 480-TESTIGO. www.cbsnews.com/news/manhunt-for-escaped-murder-suspect-in-arizona/

I wish there was more info on the murder he was in jail for but I consider prison escapees "breaking news" fugitives as it is imperative they are caught right away. A guy wanted on say just a robbery charge is bad enough but Anderson was in jail for killing someone and escaped after an officer was assaulted. He is both likely desperate and dangerous.

I think we've set a record for quickest non-AMW capture. LOL. Great news though!
