Lisa Sexton has been missing out of Ohio for over 30 years. AMW aired the case twice in 2005.
In May of 1981, 14-year old Lisa told her family that she was going to walk the family dog, but instead left home with a convicted drug dealer. She kept in contact with her mother but that ended in 1984. The drug dealer returned to Elyria alone but he never provided any information regarding Lisa's whereabouts. The man is now deceased. Lisa was last known to be in Tampa, Florida and may have traveled to Mexico. In 2003, investigators compared Lisa to an unidentified woman found in Louisiana's Lake Pontchartrain in 1986. Although the physical description was similar, the dental records did not match. That woman remains unidentified.
Thoughts? Sadly it seems like this case will be near impossible to solve. I don't believe Lisa is alive, otherwise why would she stop contacting her mother. The drug dealer probably knows what happened to Lisa, however since he's dead, we probably will never find answers.
