LAWRENCEBURG, TN (WSMV) - The Lawrence County man accused of raping a 16-month-old boy earlier this month has been added to the TBI's Top 10 Most Wanted list.

Simon Dean Porter, 33, is wanted for aggravated rape of a child. The incident happened on Nov. 10.

The victim is receiving treatment at a hospital in Nashville.

Porter lives in Lawrenceburg but has connections in Giles County and White House in Tennessee and also in north Alabama.

He may be driving a green 1997 Chevrolet S10 with a red tailgate with license plate 3G26Z9.

Porter is 5'9" and weighs 260 pounds. He has hazel eyes, reddish-blond hair and wears glasses.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call 1-800-TBI-FIND.

Thoughts? I felt this was a disgusting and sickening enough alleged crime that it warranted breaking news fugitive status on our forum.

Aside from being accused of an absolutely sickening and horrible crime, Simon looks distinctively ugly enough that he's going to stand out very easily. He needs to be caught as soon as possible to make sure he doesn't allegedly harm another young child.

Porter was found guilty for aggravated child rape and was sentenced to 60 years on that charge and aggravated child abuse and was sentenced to 25 years so 85 years with no parole so this piece of trash will.spend the rest of his life in prison where he belongs courtesy of wcyb.com

Thank you outlawtaco couldn't find the wcyb article but found another one about the sentence. I don't think we even realized the victim was his own infant son. Life in prison is too kind for this piece of sh**.

His case reminded me of Ernesto Alas-Alcantar, one of whose victims was a baby young enough to measure in months, and whose victims were his own children he betrayed! And I'm not sure how the American public feels about our justice system, but in an instant where the system succeeded, the courts locked Porter up for the rest of his meaningless life.
