AMW viewers and even non-AMW viewers are familiar with the high-profile case of Holly Lynn Bobo who was 21-years old when she went missing.
Holly was last seen early on the morning of April 13, 2011, outside of her home in Darden, Tennessee. She was seen being led away from the carport of her home toward a wooded area by a man described as approximately 5'8" to 6'0" tall and 200 pounds, wearing camouflage clothing.
Since then a lot of theories have been brought up, and suspicion was even raised on Holly's brother, Clint Bobo. Clint was the last person to see Holly before she disappeared, and it was when he saw her with the man in question, who he thought was her boyfriend. Many have accused Clint of constantly changing his story. (I want to stress that I am not accusing Clint myself and he has defended himself in the media, but just reporting on what has happened so far in the case).
There is now a possible break in the case. A Tennessee man has been arrested on an unrelated assault charge as his home is searched in connection with the case of Holly Bobo.
Zachary Adams, 29, appeared in court this past Monday morning in the unrelated case, in which he's accused of holding a gun to a woman's head at his home Feb. 6 and threatening to "gut" her with a knife. A judge set bail at $1 million in that case, and Adams told a reporter "I'm not the one" as he was led from the courtroom after the arraignment, reports the paper.
Investigators armed with a search warrant are investigating Adams' property just 15 miles from Bobo's home. Although Adams hasn't been named as a suspect and police won't say what they're looking for, media reports are it is in connection with this case.
Thoughts? Hopefully this is a breakthrough. I remember PI Bill Warner, who has done excellent work on fugitive Yaser Said's case had an interesting theory that another AMW fugitive, Paul Winklebleck, could be a potential suspect. It was interesting especially considering Winklebleck is known to wear camoflauge clothing. However, the man Clint thought he saw (if he was telling the truth) was her boyfriend Drew who is in his 20's while Winklebleck is in his 40's. In my personal opinion, while I respect Warner a lot and think he has a great theory, I don't think its' Winklebleck in relation to this case.
Also, it probably would help Clint if he took a polygraph test, as even John Walsh suggested he do. As I said, I'm not accusing Clint, I just think it would have helped him tremendously to erase suspicions if he did.
However, if there's anything more to this Zachary Adams lead, it could potentially clear Clint and/or anyone else in Holly's immediate family.
