On April 7, 2018, the victim, Michael Saldana was shot at Titus Paulsel Park located at 2900 Ave M by an unknown suspect. Michael later passed away at a local hospital. FWPD Homicide Unit is asking for assistance in identifying the suspect or suspects in Michael’s death. If you might have seen the offense or the suspect/suspects, please contact Detective J. Thoughts? I wish there was more I could find here as on the surface this seems like a random shooting. I saw a memorial page dedicated to Michael and he seemed like a beloved person and not the type of person to go out seeking trouble. A park at 2 am is not the safest place to be so my hunch is this was some sort of robbery gone awry. But whatever happened, a killer is still on the loose and I fear could kill again if he isn't caught soon.
