From newsok.com:
Nearly a year after her mother was killed, an Oklahoma City woman is pleading for anyone with information in the death to come forward.
“You don’t have closure. To know that somebody did what they did to her the way that they did it and to just leave her, it’s been a lot of up and downs,” said Tamera Kelley, the daughter of Annette Ann Kelley.
On Dec. 23, police found Annette Ann Kelley, 58, dead in her southwest Oklahoma City home. Investigators noted that she was first found by her son and that she was sitting in a chair, covered in blood and not breathing, according to a court affidavit.
A man was arrested and charged in connection to the killing, but the case against him has seemingly come apart. Oklahoma City police on Wednesday described the case as “unsolved.”
Tamera Kelley, said she’s suffered “a lot of heartache and pain” not knowing who could commit such a crime against her mother, who she described as a loving person who would help anybody in need.
At the time of her mother’s death, Tamera Kelley said neighbors told the family they had heard the brother knocking on the door trying to reach his mother, but the neighbors were uncooperative in answering questions with investigators.
She’s hoping someone who may have noticed something will reach out with new leads.
“Some people … probably forgot about her and forgot about the situation because, you know, it’s not their mom, not their problems,” she said. “She does have a lot of family that love her and just want to get to the bottom of this.”
In April, Jacob Kyle Maujer, 23, was charged with first-degree murder in connection to the death. Investigators said part of a used roll of duct tape found near the victim had a fingerprint that matched Maujer’s, according to the court affidavit.
At a preliminary hearing in September, a judge dismissed the case due to insufficient evidence. Prosecutors appealed the ruling, which was later upheld. The case could be refiled against Maujer if additional evidence surfaces.

Thoughts? Despite Maujer's arrest, this is still technically an unsolved murder since the case against him was dismissed. This is a very tragic case and I hope it can be solved soon- whether that means finally gathering enough evidence to have the case agaianst Maujer brought back, charging him and his accomplice if it turns out more than one person was involved, and/or charging someone else if they're the real killer.
