According to a 1993 report accessible through Newspaperarchive.org, on August 26, 1981, two girls in Santa Ana, California were putting trash in a bag when they saw something moving inside a shopping bag. A newborn girl was found inside the bag and was pronounced deceased. Andrea Banda who had been pregnant at the time this had happened, disappeared and a murder warrant was issued for her arrest.
Based on crime location, it is advised to contact the Santa Ana Police Department at 714-245-8665 if you have any information on Andrea Gonzales Banda's whereabouts.

Thoughts? As of today, October 23, 2018, Andrea Gonzales Banda is pretty much confirmed to still be a fugitive because she is still listed in the Orange County online warrants search. It would be nice if the Orange County Court Records page would also work on my computer, but it's among the court/law enforcement webpages out of the US that doesn't seem to work for Canadians like me. Doesn't help that it's also a pay to access a file website, so hopefully I can get the site to work someday and possibly check there as well if it's like 1-2 dollars.
As for how I found this case, back in 1993, the Orange County Register profiled 98 fugitives wanted out of the county, many of which are still probably wanted today unfortunately. Newspaperarchive and Newslibrary thankfully still have the report so I really appreciate that.
Finding Andrea is going to be a longshot I admit since this fugitive case is nearly four decades old and the newspaper photocopy online isn't of the best quality of her picture from the early 80s I'm assuming. I also assume the reason this case has not gotten much attention could be the fact that the victim is Andrea's own child, so unless a relative of hers wants to get the publicity out there, there's not going to be much motivation for the Banda family to get Law Enforcement to publicize this case.
But still, this is a fugitive accused of killing her own newborn child and who would be in her late 50s today, so she's most likely still alive.
