From Metro Denver Crime Stoppers:
Denver, CO: Denver police have released new information they hope will lead to the arrest of the driver responsible for the hit-and-run collision that killed two children last month.
Police are searching for a 2002-06 Cadillac Escalade ESV that had aftermarket side-vents, or ports, above the fender, investigator Mike Farr said.
“Those ports are decorative,” he said. “We believe they were added, which means they can be taken off.”
The color of the Escalade is either silver or off-white, Farr said.
Za May Khan, 8, and Ah Zet Khan, 6, were both killed when they were walking with their mother, Zama Bee Khan, near East 14th Avenue and Yosemite Street on March 22.
The three victims were crossing the street around 8 p.m., just off the corner when they were hit, police said.
Anyone with information about the SUV or the accident is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867.

Thoughts? As far as I can tell this tragic and heartbreaking case is still unsolved as of this posting date (10/22/2018) since it is still listed on Metro Denver Crime Stoppers. However, if anyone ever has any updates/proof-of-updates one way or the other, they are always more than welcome to let us know.
While it's hard to say "good" can be out of this, an important aspect is that Za May & Ah Zhet's mother would launch a public safety campaign to stop hit-and-run deaths. While nothing can bring them back, it is comforting to see that they did not die in vain. Still, the coward that struck them, if they had any heart whatsoever, would turn himself or herself in.
