In an extension of our AMW videos online thread that currently covers Youtube, Vimeo, Dailymotion and webarchive.org among others, I want to now do a thread on uploaded videos to Facebook. These would be public videos that users or organizations uploaded, usually because they recorded the segments at the time of airing or they were actors or were related to actors in a segment. I found a very good segment to start off with which is why I'm making this thread.
Small request for us when looking at a video on a user's profile and not on an organization's page. Try to embed the video link if possible so that we can keep the user anonymous, something I recommend due to the subject matter of this site.
The video segment to start things off is the November 8, 1991 profile of Jessie Lee Baker. A very long segment considering it was in AMW's early years, but it did it's job by leading to Jessie becoming Direct Capture #175. This was one of the more bizarre captures in that Jessie had been arrested in Fulton County, Georgia and inmates who were watching the segment got a majority vote among the prison population to turn him in.
The credits for the November 8, 1991 profile also indicated that William Dwight Dotson got his first airing on the episode as well. William was arrested in 1995, becoming Direct Capture #359. Jeremy Abshire was featured, becoming Capture #176. However, according to forum user 912thAMWUser, Abshire was acquitted I should note.
Then the credits for the November 15, 1991 profile were shown as well. Longtime fugitive Jose Adolfo Rivera (who was also on Final Justice in 1995 and 2001) was featured, along with infamous fugitive Ira Einhorn. The Baby Hope murder case out of New York was profiled. I believe the names Jeffrey Horstman, William Rice and Michael Waggoner listed were aliases that Jessie Lee Baker had used, based on what was said during his capture report.
----
EDIT: Here's the video link below. I can't get the proboards site to embed facebook videos due to the URL. If someone with more expertise than me can do this I would highly appreciate it.
