From ozarksfirst.com:
DALLAS COUNTY, Missouri. -- A murder suspect is on the run and his counterpart is in a jail cell.
The Dallas County Sheriff's office is looking for Billy "Sage" Medley who they believe was involved in the murder of a couple at their home over the weekend.
Court documents say two men killed the homeowners when they were caught trying to steal the couple's vehicles.
A probable cause statement says Medley's fingerprints were found on a shotgun found at the crime scene.
Officers arrested Jeffery Stevenson for the same crime Wednesday night.
The Dallas County Sheriff's Office says Sunday morning, a man called 911 after finding his own daughter and his son-in-law dead near their front porch.
Brandy Allen and her husband Joseph Allen, lived on State Road PP in Tunas, Missouri, Dallas County.
Dallas County Sheriff Scott Rice says the homeowners likely heard something and went outside when they caught a robbery in progress.
"It went terribly wrong from there," he said.
It's believed they had a shotgun but didn't have time to protect themselves.
"The suspects probably saw the homeowners come out and shot them before they even knew they were shot," Sheriff Rice said.
The suspects got away with one vehicle, which was found in Meeks Creek in Camden County on a property where Jeffery Stevenson lived. He was arrested Wednesday night.
Court documents say he was seen with Billy Sage Medley Saturday night around 8 p.m. before the crime happened.
On Tuesday, a witness from Macks Creek turned over a gun to police a .45 caliber pistol, saying they had bought it from Medley and Stevenson on Sunday morning around 10 a.m.
According to court documents, shell casings from the scene, match those of that pistol. And fingerprints on a shotgun belonging to the victims that was found at the scene were confirmed to be those of Billy Sage Medley.
But authorities have not yet said who pulled the trigger.
When caught, Medley could face second-degree murder, among other felony charges.
He is considered armed and dangerous and is known to have ties in Camden County, Joplin, and Pittsburg, Kansas.
"He's a killer on the run," Sheriff Rice said.
If you see him or know of his whereabouts, you are asked to call the Tip Line, 417-383-5232 or the Dallas County Sheriff's Office.

Thoughts? I am adding Medley as a breaking news fugitive case as I feel this case is very similar to the recent Kirby Gene Wallace case out of Tennessee and I fear the potential for continued alleged violence if Medley is not apprehended soon. I'm also placing him as a breaking news case because of new articles suggesting he may be hiding out in Oklahoma (but anyone who thinks they've spotted Medley should call authorities immediately regardless of where they think they've spotted him): 5newsonline.com/2018/10/07/armed-and-dangerous-man-wanted-in-connection-to-double-homicide-has-ties-to-oklahoma/
Also, as of this posting date (10/8/2018), a search of Missouri's online criminal court records still shows no movement since a warrant was issued for Medley's arrest back on October 3rd: www.courts.mo.gov/casenet/cases/service.do
