From ABC 8 Tulsa (ktul.com):
TULSA, Okla. (KTUL) —
There is now just one unsolved murder case for 2018 on the books for the Tulsa Police Department.
In late July, 25-year-old Dustin Barham was shot as he was running to his truck to escape from the parking lot of the Sierra Point Apartments near I-44 and South Garnett.
He didn't make it and crashed into several cars.
Barham later died of his wounds in the emergency room at Saint Francis.
He was a young man who'd overcome learning and hearing disabilities to make his way in the world.
The leads in the case make investigators think he was robbed and killed after being invited to that location.
Homicide Detective Sgt. Brandon Watkins said, "We do know he was lured there, and there was no other reason to be there. He may have just run into the wrong person there that night, or he was set up."
Dustin's mother, Andra Barham, said they are hoping for a break to solve the case and that Tulsa detectives have done a good job keeping the family updated on their progress.
Watkins told us they have a lot of information and evidence, and they're waiting on some key lab results in the case. He also said they have several suspects and are working hard to narrow down that list.
They've interviewed more than a dozen people in the last few weeks, and they're working the case as their number one priority.
Dustin was an Owasso High School graduate and the kind of person who cared about his family and the Oklahoma Sooners.
His death isn't a typical homicide case, but detectives said they won’t give up.
One person who is brave enough to make a call could end the case in a hurry.
Watkins said, "Courage is the good word for it. Having the ability and say this is wrong, what happened to this person, and they're willing to step up and help out and even call in a tip. "
Anyone can call 918-596-COPS and anonymously report a tip for a cash reward.

Thoughts? I hope Brandon's case is solved quickly, and hopefully the appeal to the public will help. I am a huge fan of the show "The First 48" on A&E and I know from watching that show that Tulsa P.D. detectives are very dedicated, and it is very rare that they don't get their man.
