According to Nashville Scene and Newspapers.com, on September 19, 2008, Edgar Rodriguez allegedly shot and killed Vinod Shah in his convenience store. A fingerprint at the crime scene matched Rodriguez from a 2007 arrest, and local relatives identified him from the surveillance footage. Edgar is believed to fled to Mexico after the murder.

Thoughts? First and foremost, this is a manhunt for a fugitive who allegedly committed a cold-blooded murder, let's not forget that is the main point of this thread. I bring that up because following the murder of Vinod Shah there was controversy regarding Edgar being an illegal immigrant and having been previously deported in 2007. In 2008, Nashville authorities reportedly had no idea how Edgar re-entered the US.
As far as we stand now in 2018, Edgar could still be in Mexico but there is always a possibility he may have once again re-entered the US at some point.
