Jasmine Lagail Mason is wanted for failing to appear in court to face gun and drug-related charges. Mason was originally arrested by officers from the Knoxville, Tennessee, Police Department on February 17, 2018. In May of 2018, she failed to appear for her court hearing and a Federal Grand Jury indicted Mason. An arrest warrant was then issued for her in the United States District Court, Eastern District of Tennessee, Knoxville, Tennessee, on May 15, 2018, after she was charged with Possession with Intent to Distribute 50 Grams or More of Methamphetamine and Possession of a Firearm in Furtherance of a Drug Trafficking Crime.

Thoughts? The FBI added Jasmine to their featured fugitives page earlier this week so as of today, September 12, 2018, she is still listed as a wanted fugitive on their site.
Should be noted that Jasmine Mason is the only listed case from the Knoxville Field Office on the FBI's site, especially notable since they don't list any missing person or unsolved crime cases. This seems to continue the trend of field offices that previously didn't post very many fugitive cases stepping up to the plate and getting more profiled this year. While getting Jasmine on the site is a good thing, hopefully the Knoxville office can find a fugitive case not involving alleged non-violent drug trafficking to put on there as well.
