(Above photo credit: news9.com) From news9.com: Adair County Sheriff's Office is looking for a man suspected of murdering his wife. A warrant has been issued for the arrest of Aubrey Johnson III. Johnson called authorities around 6:15 p.m. Thursday, September 6 to report his wife and child had been shot, according to ACSO. The Sheriff's Office said Johnson's wife was shot once in the head and later died of her wounds. Johnson is also suspected of wounding her 8-year-old old daughter. He described as a 28-year-old white male who is 5'6" and 185 pounds. He has blue eyes and brown hair. Friends of the victim tell News On 6 Johnson may be driving a cream-colored, late model Buick and could be in Adair, Cherokee, Mayes, Rogers or Tulsa County. If you have information about his whereabouts, call 911 or the Adair County Sheriff's Office at 918-696-2106.m.news9.com/story.aspx?story=39046869&catId=112032Thoughts? Adding this as a breaking news case for what should be obvious reasons. Details are scant at least from the articles I've found but a search of Oklahoma's criminal records show he already had a warrant issued on September 6th for assault and battery with a deadly weapon. As far as I can tell, he is still at large at the time of this posting.
