 (Above photo credit: NYPD/WMTW) From latimes.com: The NYPD wants to cross a Bronx triple murder suspect off the wanted list – and they’re offering a $10,000 reward to anyone who can help put him behind bars. Cops on Tuesday announced the reward, paid by the city’s Police Foundation, for info leading to the arrest and conviction of 51-year-old Sam Cross. Cross is accused of turning a Castle Hill strip mall into a broad-daylight bloodbath on June 21, when he opened fire on Castle Hill Ave., between Cincinnatus and Randall Aves. He shot Mustafa Tarver and Christopher Alleyne, both 33, in the head, cops said. Arileida Jiminez, 45, who was handing out insurance pamphlets outside a diner, was also killed when one of Cross’ bullets struck her in the torso, cops said. Investigators think the shooting was gang-related, and Tarver was the intended target.

Yeah this case is prime example as to why gang fugitives and violence still poses a threat to innocent people as well. Not that it's right to shoot at rival gang members of course, but Arilelda Jimenez appears to have simply been doing her job when Sam Cross allegedly killed her in the bloodbath. Since this happened in broad daylight, who knows how many other local residents were put in harm's way.
Anyway, there aren't many places to blend in the state of Maine, which is one of the reasons we found out that AMW only caught one or two fugitives there during the show's run a couple of years ago. Hopefully that means Sam will be caught as soon as possible.

We may need a thread dedicated to this but hopefully the US Marshals have presented this case to Live PD: Wanted as well. Really, really horrible and violent case, and I feel that #LivePDNation could very easily help arrest Sam Cross.

Well we have a good AMW-like attribute for Live PD: Wanted. That would be keeping the pressure on a dangerous fugitive after supposedly getting good tips by airing him/her two weeks in a row. Hopefully this finally pays off.

Ok, looks like Cross will be one of the 15 seconds of shame fugitives on tonight's episode of In Pursuit. Also, didn't AMW state the shooting was because of something involving Cross trying to shoot a guy who attacked his daughter or something? Just realized now initial articles said it was gang-related. I couldn't find anything but there are a surprising number of Sam or Samuel Cross cases in there- mainly a Samuel Owen Cross in Iowa- so it is possible he got buried in my search (hate to admit to laziness but there's too many to fully comb through lol)
