According to Newslibrary archives, on December 3, 2001, Joel Sanchez and his brother Noe went to a cockfighting match near Toppenish, Washington. Also there was a man whom the Sanchez had a longstanding dispute with, going back years. When the man and four other attendees left the match, that's when the Sanchez brothers allegedly opened fire with their guns in the victims direction. 26-year old Adrian Mata was killed, two other men were wounded and two missed being struck by the gunfire.
Noe was arrested right after the shooting, while his brother Joel went on the run.

Thoughts? Joel Sanchez's case is only listed on 2010 version of the Yakima County Crime Stoppers page, not their current variant of their website. So as always with all archived fugitive cases, I beforehand confirmed through in this case the Washington State Odyssey Court Records that Joel Sanchez's caes status shows as "On Warrant", as of today, August 19, 2018.
Also I'm not including the name of the man the Sanchez brothers had the ongoing dispute with since I have no idea if he wants his name listed on the internet again, so it's better to be safe than sorry.
