(Above photo credit: Tulsa Crime Stoppers) From Tulsa County Crime Stoppers- Cold Cases section: "Remains were found on June 29, 1991 at the 2600 block of West 158th Street South. The remains were later identified as those of 13 year old Lee Gene Stebens. The young man was wearing a blue and white striped shirt and gray slacks as well as multiple red and orange friendship bracelets." tulsacrimestoppers.org/crime/coldcase/ (scroll down for case) Thoughts? Admittedly a lack of details but still wanted to highlight Lee's case on our website since I feel anyone with a life cut that tragically short deserves more attention when it comes to getting justice for them. Admin Note #1: Since this case is listed on Tulsa County Crime Stoppers, our advice for anyone with information would be to contact that agency: tulsacrimestoppers.org/get-involved/submit-a-crime-stopper-tip/

I checked Newslibrary to see if there was any media coverage during the 90s on this case. I did learn that Lee had ran away from a juvenile shelter prior to his death. No idea if the shelter and/or it's occupants could have been related but it is something to work with.
