Thoughts? What seems to have complicated matters in getting justice for Chris is that the main suspect in his murder, Michael Bourquin, is now dead himself. According to articles, Chris's father says Bourquin even confessed to him a few months after his son disappeared. At the time, however, police did not give it much credence.
In February 2014, Bourquin got into a fight with Pierce County deputies during a traffic stop. Bourquin, who had outstanding warrants, sprayed the deputies with bear mace. During the fight, deputies fatally shot him. Bourquin was 21 years old.
