(Above photo credit: kptv.com) From kptv.com (Fox 12 Oregon): PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) - The Portland Police Bureau, along with Crime Stoppers of Oregon, is asking for the public's help solving a murder that happened in northeast Portland. Eugene Gora, 85, was found dead at a home in the 4200 block of Northeast Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard on May 10. The Oregon State Medical Examiner's Office determined that Gora died from homicidal violence. Detectives do not have any suspect information in the investigation. Gora was known as a fixture on NE Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard since the early 1970s. FOX 12 spoke to one man who said Gora mentored area youth in welding and metal work, as well as supporting the renaming of Union Avenue in honor of MLK. Crime Stoppers of Oregon is offering a reward of up to $2,500 for information that leads to an arrest.
