Authorities in Philadelphia say that in early June of 2018, Tyisha Timmons was driving her van with two other adults and three children under the age of 4 inside. That's when Timothy Barnes and an accomplice allegedly fired several shots into the vehicle, killing Tyisha.
The suspected motive in the case was that Timothy thought someone in Tyisha's van had fired shots at him and his friends earlier in the day. The reality is that Tyisha and her occupants were not involved in that shooting incident at all and were targeted as a case of mistaken identity.
The accomplice has since been arrested while Timothy is currently at large, according to the Philadelphia Most Wanted website.
Based on investigating agencies, it is advised to send any information on Timothy Barnes's whereabouts anonymously to Philadelphia's Most Wanted at www.phillymostwanted.org/default.aspx?menuitemid=781&suspect=TIMOTHY%20BARNES

Thoughts? As of today, July 7, 2018, Timothy Barnes is still listed on Philadelphia's Most Wanted where there are Captured Listings for other fugitives, so he is most likely still at large.
This is an extremely tragic case. Not only because Tyisha was killed as a result of mistaken identity, but because three very young children could have been gunned down along with the two other adults in that van. There are a lot of wonderful, hard working people in cities in Philadelphia who have to deal with senseless violence like this. It's really sad.
