Dating back to approximately 1990, Houston authorities according to Newslibrary archives say that Don Doroteo was allegedly involved in a serial burglary ring. The members were accused of dressing up as raid officers and targeting drug dealers. In December of 1993, the home where Andres Perez lived at was broken into. Andres was shot to death and the other occupants were pistol whipped.
An arrest warrant for Don was issued in early 1994. He had been arrested in mid 1993 on a domestic violence charge. At the time, a search of his car revealed a raid uniform and several firearms.
Based on crime location, it is advised to contact Crime Stoppers of Houston at 713-222-TIPS if you have any information on Don Doroteo's whereabouts.

Thoughts? After I found Don on the Crime Stoppers of Houston page in April 2017, I finally managed to find an article about his case on Newslibrary. Unfortunately the Crime Stoppers search feature on that website does not work, (example would be putting in "Salazar" does not automatically bring up Jesus Gerardo Salazar's entry). So I can say that as of today, July 3, 2018, there's a 95% chance that Don is still at large without having to go through all 64 of the Houston Crime Stoppers's pages.
I also managed to log back into the Harris County Court Records page. The only court record available for him was that 1993 arrest for unlawfully carrying a weapon so it looks like he has yet to go to trial for Andres's murder, further confirming he's still at large.
