John MacLellan was a 38-year old man who moved from Massachusetts to New Orleans, and was violently gunned down in a robbery there in 2004. The case was on AMW's last ever "regular" weekly Fox episode in June of 2011, and featured his father's passionate mission to get his son justice, including going to various prisons to tell his son's story.
A sad update to this case. MacLelellan's father has died unexpectedly at age 69. Hopefully, his father's crusade did not go in vain, and one day it will still pay off.
