Distinguishing Characteristics: African-American male. Black hair, brown eyes. Miles's nickname is Young Rick. His ears are pierced.

Details of Disappearance
Miles was last seen in Newellton, Louisiana on June 2, 2017. He and his grandmother were fishing at an inlet off Lake St. Joseph between Hillcrest Drive and Main Street, near the Lake St. Joseph Lighthouse, when a white farm truck pulled up. Miles got into the truck, telling his grandmother he'd be back in ten minutes, and rode away.
Several hours after Miles left in the truck, his sister got a text from his phone, asking for his uncle's phone number. Miles was close to his uncle and knew his phone number, and his family doesn't know why he would have sent the text. His mother doesn't believe Miles intended to leave his grandmother by the water alone.
Authorities know the identity of the truck's driver, but have not released the man's name to the public. He was interviewed by investigators several times, and said he left Miles at an intersection in Newellton.
Miles has never been heard from again. The circumstances of his disappearance are unclear.
