BECKLEY — Beckley Police are looking for a man that shot and killed another man on April 10.
Demorrea Juan Curry, 22, is accused of shooting Corey Henry, 40, of Beckley, at around 4 a.m. April 10, on West Neville Street, according to Captain David Farley.
Henry died as a result of the gunshot wounds at around 5:15 p.m. that day at Charleston Area Medical Center.
Curry has a warrant of first degree murder for his arrest.
Curry is described as 5 foot 11 inches tall, weighs 220 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
Police say Curry is considered armed and dangerous, do not approach him.
Curry was previously arrested when he was 16 for his alleged involvement in a shooting in Beckley.

Thoughts? Unfortunately, I couldn't find anything about an alleged motive in this case. Also, the shooting at age 16 wasn't Curry's only other run-in with the law. In 2015, Curry was arrested after a high-speed chase in which his Chevrolet Malibu allegedly struck a State Trooper's vehicle twice. (Troopers attempted to pull him over for speeding).
