I have a request for any of our frequent posters/guests. Judging by the topics of this forum, some readers have some law enforcement items as part of a collection, to include wanted posters. What I am requesting is pictures and information on fugitives that were featured on FBI wanted posters during the 1980s and 1990s. These would have been distributed to law enforcement and would also have been featured in post offices during those decades. Aside from the word "poster" they would have also been referred to as "wanted notices" and "identification orders"
More likely than not the majority of fugitives featured on those posters have since been located and their cases closed, but a fair number of them would still be at large to this day. All I am requesting would be a close up picture of the wanted poster to determine the case summary and the location the warrant was issued so I can check any available court records out of the city or state.
This thread will be kept on this forum in the event that someone who has these types of posters would be able to assist in this. I would greatly appreciate it as it may allow me to post a case thread on a fugitive who currently is not being listed online.
Alternatively, there are probably still a lot of US post offices, especially in smaller towns and cities that may have these posters stored away. I don't know the legality if the posters could be obtained from the post office as I live in Canada, but if anyone's able to check then let us know if you find anything.

I’ll actually check that out for you since I’m off on Monday. I’ll ask them questions about the FBI posters and if they still have them, near my location.
